So much talking, much of it pointless and just there to make the episode the full length I guess
Janja was NOT in the wrong. Even if the Guard did shoo them into the Outlands, they were not only in their territory, but they also tried to steal from them
As much as I love Beshte, his line of 'and for that they deserve to get eaten?' seemed ridiculous - Kion and Fuli eat INNOCENT animals all the time because that's how the Circle of Life goes sometimes, even Janja needs to eat
Bunga felt annoying again
Not a huge deal, but they reused a joke ('It's funny 'cause it's true!') and that wasn't really funny the first time they used it
So yeah... I'd go as far to say that this could be my least fave episode of the show yet.
The problem was the baboon characters and nothing else in my eyes. They didn't stop being theives until it suited THEM. All the while the guard was like "Janja's crew is gonna eat them!" I was like; "Would that be the worst thing?". Discuss.
I wasn't fond of this one. It dragged on in parts and some of the side-jokes (the ones not told by the monkeys) didn't seem remotely funny.
As others have pointed out, Janja didn't do anything wrong, and it seemed a tad bit unfair that the Lion Guard treated him like that. The show needs to accept that Janja needs to eat, too. I'm starting to think that Scar should arrive because the Lion Guard are get a little power hungry, as a sort of warning to them as opposed to Kion getting angry...
It felt very filler-esque (?). I really did not like Janja and his crew getting attacked over the baboons, and Beshte makes a good point about Beshte's comment. They weren't trying to eat from spite really, they were trying to eat because they needed to.
This episode has to be the worst of season 2 so far. Janja didn't do anything wrong in this episode and some some of the jokes were annoying. But, if I had to say some good things about it, the facial expressions were really good! Ever since the start of this season the animation is more fluent and the expressions are more lively and cartoony and the baboon's act was fun to watch. I did really like Uroho and his voice but the other baboons, not so much. The song was catchy but not the best in the series. Overall, this episode was really not good.
