Pythons are snakes that appear in The Lion Guard universe. They live in the Pride Lands.

The pythons shown in The Lion Guard are African rock pythons, Africa's largest snake. Their stout bodies are mottled with blotches of chestnut, olive, buff, and brown. They have sharp, recurved teeth on both their upper and their lower jaws.

Pythons are non-venomous snakes that kill their prey by wrapping around its prey and tightening its coils. The color of their scales provides camouflage in or beneath trees. Pythons feed mostly on mammals (including antelopes, bats, and monkeys), reptiles, and birds. Pythons usually live near bodies of water, and spend the dry season in a dormant state.
