After Makuu wins the Mashindano, he forces the hippos out of Big Springs the very next day. As a result, animals become shifted around and start to take up residence in other parts of the Pride Lands, including the giraffes, who move into Nyani Grove and push the baboons out.
Kiara rushes to find the Lion Guard in the lair, explaining that Zazu has heard about the giraffes moving into the baboon's forest. Since Simba and Nala are out hunting, she turns to them for their help.
Later, the baboons move into Pride Rock. Kion is then prompted to sort out the problem once and for all, and confronts Makuu and forces him to leave Big Springs. After he does so, the baboons move back into the forest.
Fuli does as asked, and when the cheetah arrives, Big Baboon greets her and questions what she is doing there. She explains that she is there to return the baby, but Big Baboon informs her that the Baby Baboon actually lives in Mapango Cliffs with a neighbouring troop, not Nyani Grove. Fuli reluctantly turns to leave, but troop call her back. They ask her to deliver a message to them and, when she agrees to, they proceed to hurl fruit at her until she leaves.
With their message sent, Big Baboon questions whose turn it is to pick up the throwing fruit, and the rest of his troop point towards each other. Big Baboon irritably utters 'baboons'.
The Lion Guard arrive on the scene to discover that Nyani Grove is destroyed and Fuli rushes ahead to find the problem but she is stopped by a troop of panick baboons. After the troop leaves they find out that all thr ruckus was caused by a poor-sighted rhino named Kifaru who lost his tickbird.
