Marieve Herington is the voice of Ogopa in The Lion Guard.

Early Life

Herington notes that as a child, she was a Lion King "super fan". [1] She joined Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists when she was only nine years old. Herington has been fronting her own jazz ensembles since the age of sixteen. She St. Mildred's-Lightbourn School in Canada, and later studied drama at the University of Toronto. In 2008, she moved to Los Angeles, California.


Herington has voice acted for a number of children's shows, including Franklin, Pearlie, and Doc McStuffins in addition to The Lion Guard. She voiced Claudette in all of the Alpha and Omega sequels and provided her voice for additional voices in Ice Age: Continental Drift. She voiced Brooke Page and Darling Charming in Ever After High and Lorna McNessie in Monster High. She voiced Heather in The New Normal and voiced Gracie in Dog With a Blog.[2] She also voiced Lily and Windflower in Palace Pets App.
