Hares are animals that appear in The Lion Guard universe. They live in the Pride Lands.

The hares featured in The Lion Guard are scrub hares and red rock hares. They have gray and brown fur, with black ear tips. Their tails are black on top and white on the underside. They have sharp incisors.

Scrub hares have a sharp sense of smell and excellent hearing. Their diet consists of grasses, herbs, bark, roots, berries, and fungi. Other than humans, their main predators are snakes and birds of prey.
