Jonny Rees (also known as Greg Ellis) [1] voices Mzingo on The Lion Guard.
Early Life[]
Jonny was born March 21st 1968 in Wigan, Lancashire, England. When he was sixteen he changed his name to Greg Ellis, since some one else in the acting guild had the same name as him.[2]. In September 2015 he went back to his original name[3]. He started acting by doing stage shows like Oliver.
Career[]
He created a production company called Monkey Toes which produced Mark, a Sky television drama. Some of his acting roles include: Spruce in Sofia The First, Jimmy in Postman Pat: The Movie, and Hairy Hold in Foodfight!
