In The Lion Guard, Alex Cartañá provided lead vocals for the Season 1 songs Our Kupatana Community and Trail to Hope as well as multiple other songs throughout the show, predominantly singing the Backing Chanting Vocals in Swahili.
Alex's debut single was released in 2003 through EMI Records UK. It was called Shake It (Move a little closer). Her second single to be released was Hey Papi.
