Alex Cartañá is the voice of Twiga in The Lion Guard. She is pictured to the right with The Lion Guard songwriter and singer Beau Black.

Early Life

Alex Cartaña was born in April of 1983. She could speak multiple languages from the time she was a toddler.

Career

In The Lion Guard, Alex Cartañá provided lead vocals for the songs Our Kupatana Community and Trail to Hope as well as multiple other songs throughout the show, predominantly singing the Backing Chanting Vocals in Swahili.

Alex's debut single was released in 2003 through EMI Records UK. It was called "Shake It (Move a little closer)". Her second single to be released was "Hey Papi".

Alex can also be heard and seen on The Lion Guard's main Theme song: "Here Comes The Lion Guard".
